About Us

We are a Music tutoring service based in East Sussex in the UK run by Gareth Hancock.

Gareth Hancock graduated from Cambridge with a music degree and from the Royal Academy of Music with the Recital Diploma in piano accompaniment.  He also holds a teaching diploma in flute from the Royal College of Music.  Gareth has a wealth of experience as a conductor, pianist and vocal coach for some thirty years, working across all styles of music from opera and song to musical theatre.  Highlights include conducting Alfie Boe's debut album, Madame Butterfly for Opera North, Carmen at the Royal Albert Hall and Der Rosenkavalier & Damnation of Faust for Glyndebourne. 

Gareth has a clear enhanced DBS disclosure 2020 and is a member of the Musician's Union.
